David Drummond, DPM, FACFAS, received his graduate medical education from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated with honors and several academic awards. Dr. Drummond served clinical rotations around the country at prestigious hospitals from Colorado and Arizona to Georgia and Florida, learning foot and ankle surgical techniques from numerous renowned surgeons. Upon completion of his doctorate degree, he received a highly regarded foot and ankle surgery residency position at John Peter Smith Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in Fort Worth, Texas, where he rose to the role of chief resident.
Dr. Drummond is fully board certified in both foot and ankle surgery as a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He has received special recognition from the state of Louisiana for ankle surgical care. Dr. Drummond performs all types of foot and ankle surgery, ranging from sports medicine and ankle arthroscopy to reconstructive surgery and complex deformity correction of the foot and ankle.
Dr. David Drummond and his wife are natives of Shreveport-Bossier.
